On a recent trip to the Sapphire Coast in NSW, Australia. I found my sunboli was invaluable; I used it a lot and it's very effective. UVE measures how much ultraviolet radiation a material blocks before it reaches your skin. It is different to SPF, which measures protection once something is applied to the skin.
Every sunboli offers over 90% UVE protection. The OG sunboli provides 90%, and our coloured canopies offer slightly higher protection, because darker fabric blocks more UV. According to ARPANSA, anything above 80% UVE is considered effective. All sunboli umbrellas were independently tested to this standard, and we hold the certification.

A hat sits on your head and traps heat. The sunboli canopy is tightly woven hemp, which filters the sun's rays while still letting air pass through, so you get shade without the trapped-heat feeling.
It also covers far more than your face and neck, and you can put it away the moment you step indoors.

Because the hemp canopy lets air move through it, there is less pressure on the frame than with a plastic umbrella. That reduces those awkward inside-out moments.
That said, sunboli is designed for hot, calm to lightly breezy conditions. Like any umbrella, it is not intended for strong winds or stormy weather.

It will handle the occasional light shower, but its purpose is portable shade for sun-soaked days: the commute, a long walk, outdoor events, travel, or simply moving through the city on a hot day.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. To be eligible, your sunboli must be unused and unopened, and returned in its original condition. We also offer colour exchanges on the same terms.
